It rooted from an era of change, I realized that there was a shift beginning – they call it awakening, enlightenment or becoming conscious. Suddenly there were alternative lifestyle philosophies being introduced that seemed to be very in line with an overall well and balanced life. Feeling stagnant and as if the world I lived in was not the one I felt was right, I started researching and seeking information. A whole new world caught my eye, it was beautiful in that it seemed so nurturing and calm, without any nerving anxiety I saw in the world at times. I wanted to understand where the missing link was to everyone being able to attain this frequency, I realized there wasn’t much education on this type of wellness in life, at least not to the people I found in my atmospheres by the time I started functioning as an adult.
I proceeded to grow progressively in an energy of understanding my un-evolutionary thought patterns and other lifestyle habits. I then was in a state of awareness. Aware of the evolutionary process unfolding and learning from new information coming more available to me. One heart felt presence came upon me, “how could I educate others about this way of life.” I developed an idea – I wanted to liberate lifestyle of humanity. Liberate was the first concept name when I was starting to define the idea that had rooted. Without looking up on the symbolic message behind the lotus flower, it came to me while my sister and I discussed it on the beach one day. We started as a Liberated Lotus – I eventually changed it to LiberatedLotus Collective after moving to Austin, Texas seeking direction with my new idea. I knew I wanted to create space for people to learn about an alternative healthy lifestyle and empower communities to ultimately reach a goal of empowering all of humanity.
“The roots of a lotus flower extend into the mud and the stem grows up through the water and the flower blossoms above the surface. In Buddhist thought, this pattern of growth signifies the progress of the soul from the primeval mud of materialism through sunshine of enlightenment.”
